Who Are We

The American Club of Valencia is an organization and resource for Americans living in and around “Valencia, Spain.”
The club was founded in 1977 and has grown steadily every year since.

Where Are We From

Our members, permanent and temporary residents of Spain, live all around the “Valencia autonomous region” (Comunidad Valenciana),
in the city of Valencia and surrounding towns and suburbs.

What Do We Do

  • We serve as a resource for Americans living in and around Valencia, Spain.
  • We help you get and stay in touch with your fellow Americans in the Valencia area.
  • We can help you get to know, understand, and love the area:

- Local school systems
– Valencia region real estate market
– Recreational, sports, and tourism opportunities
– Cross-cultural issues and questions

  • We host events, gatherings, and cultural activities for members, including holiday parties.
    Our annual Halloween Party is a favorite! We have events especially for children, for families, for women, and for men.
  • We cooperate with and support local charitable organizations, donating a share of our proceeds from all events such as our annual used book sale, Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Event, Christmas Party and Easter Party.
  • We publish a monthly newsletter, “La Americana,” that is e-mailed directly to our membership.
